Beata Lipska

I am an accredited Jungian analyst with a diploma from the C.G. Jung Institute in Kusnacht and a
member of IAAP since 2023. I am originally coming from Poland but have lived in Sweden for 14
years. In Poland I worked as a psychiatrist in a hospital and private practice in Warsaw. I graduated
from medical school and received my medical degree in 1989, then I did a specialization in
psychiatry. From the beginning of my professional career I was very interested in psychotherapy,
but at that time in Poland there were few opportunities for psychotherapy training. Nonetheless, I
completed training in psychodynamically oriented therapy at the Warsaw Psychotherapist Training
Center. Then, for several years, I worked for pharmaceutical companies and was involved in clinical
research. However, this type of work was quite unfamiliar to me and I decided to go to Sweden to
return to work in psychiatry. However, it turned out rather quickly that psychiatry in Sweden is
extremely biological and only CBT therapy is recognized and reimbursed. Then, as a result of
searching for my way, I found the works of CG Jung and began to study them more carefully. I
quickly realized that the psychological theory created by C.G. Jung fit and reflected my own
thinking and experiences how human mind works. Then found a Jungian female analyst, thanks to
her I was able to start my own analysis and then study at the Jung Institute in Kusnacht. I conduct
analytical therapy over the Internet with the clients from Poland and Polish-speaking patients living
outside Poland, in addition to which I also continue to see patients as a psychiatrist by polish
outpatient clinic in Warsaw.
