Fulvio Marchese

Fulvio Marchese is a clinical psychologist and researcher in psychopathology. He has been the clinic manager for the Psychotherapy and Psychodiagnostic service at the Unit of Psychiatry, University Hospital “P. Giaccone”, Palermo, Italy (2007 - 2018). He is the principal investigator and clinical manager of the research project “Diabasis-2" for the treatment of psychotic disorders, that was presented at the XXI International Congress of International Association of Analytical Psychology (Vienna, 2019). He was member of the Italian Delegation at the XXII IAAP International Congress (Buenos Aires, 2022).
His most interest is about the phenomena of alteration of consciousness in psychosis and dissociative disorders He provides training in the Rorschach Test (Comprehensive System of J. E. Exner) for postgraduate students in clinical psychology. Furthermore, currently he delivers the module of "Theories of Psychosis and Neurosis" at the CIPA (Centro Italiano di Psicologia Analitica- Istituto Meridionale). He published several scientific articles about Psychosis, Clinical Psychology Terrorism and other topics. Fulvio is currently focusing on the development of a clinical intervention/model based on the model of C.G. Jung and J.W. Perry to treat psychotic disorders. He lives and works in Palermo, Italy.
