Gábor Majdán
I am a Zürich-trained Jungian analyst (ISAPZURICH), working in private practice in Zürich, in English and in Hungarian. I was born and raised in central Hungary. I completed my IT-related Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Budapest, Hungary, and in Utrecht, the Netherlands. However, my soul remained unsatisfied with this first career, and both subtly and staunchly, it made me embrace my vocation as a Jungian analyst.
Navigating major life changes, such as the one I have gone through, forms the heart of my analytical practice. I help my clients attune to the subtle promptings of their psyche, to be able to tease out what lies behind complicated and often chaotic feelings coming from the deepest reaches of their soul.
I have worked with patients and colleagues from all over the world, and have lived in five countries (Hungary, Australia, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the United States). I am especially sensitive and receptive to the collective pressures our societies exert (native or adopted), and to the deep necessity of differentiating the ancestral and spiritual cues that come from within.
